Mike Johnson is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor (LPCC-S) through the Ohio CSWMFT Board. He holds his Masters Degree from Ashland Theological Seminary. Mike first began his counseling career in 2006 working with a wide variety of populations from children and teens and their families, group homes, collaborating with schools, child welfare systems and the courts. He’s worked in specialized schools for ADD/HD & Autism, Crisis and long term group homes, Detention Centers and as a counselor and supervisor of a long term group home program in the area. Mike is professionally trained in helping clients who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, ADD/HD, behavioral issues, grief and loss and men’s issues. He provides marriage, couple’s and family counseling and helps those who want strategies with general communication and relationship issues. He is passionate about helping people find ways to heal and gain skills that they need to thrive in healthy ways in their lives. Mike has been with DaySpring Counseling for over 9 years.
